Movement Day Philadelphia is an annual gathering of a diverse group of believers—pastors, ministry leaders, business professionals, educators, and community advocates—united by a shared mission: to celebrate what God has already done and to collaboratively discern what He wants to do next to bring hope and transformation to our city.
Philadelphia is a city with a deep spiritual heritage, yet it faces profound challenges. We believe that when the Church comes together in unity, seeking God’s heart and mobilizing for action, real change happens.
THE GOSPEL EFFECT
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is more than a message—it is a movement that heals, restores, and reshapes entire communities. When the Church fully embraces its calling, we see revival in hearts, a harvest of souls, and lasting societal renewal.
When the Gospel moves, it changes everything:
• It breaks down walls—uniting believers across racial, denominational, and generational lines.
• It restores what is broken—bringing healing to families, communities, and institutions.
• It mobilizes the Church—calling every believer to bring God’s kingdom into every sphere of society, including families, government, media, education, business, arts & entertainment, prisons, and healthcare.
